Welcome to Willow Ridge Church. We hope that you will enjoy your online experience and get a taste of Willow Ridge. No matter where you are or what season of life you are in, we hope you will find that this is the place where you belong.
When are your services?

We have two identical services on Sunday at 9:30am and 11:00am. Just pick the one that is most convenient for you. Each service features excellent programs for children from birth through 5th grade as well as students 6th through 12th grade. We recommend you arrive approximately 20 minutes before the service so you won't feel rushed.

How do I get to Willow Ridge Church?

Willow Ridge is located on Highway 1 between Lexington and West Columbia minutes off Interstate 20 or Interstate 26. If your coming down I-20 take exit 58 towards Columbia or coming from I-26 take exit 111 towards Lexington. We are located at 104 Sycamore Tree Road, Lexington 29073.

What can I expect on my first visit?

From the moment you pull into the parking lot, you'll be made to feel at home. One of our First Impressions Team members will greet you at the circle.  The first building you come to on your right is our newly constructed children and youth building. Inside you will discover rooms that were created with kids and students in mind.

Continuing down the walk you will come to the auditorium and be greeted by more First Impressions Team members.  Once inside, continue down the hallway to the worship center.  At anytime during your visit, if you have a question, look for one our FI team members, they would love to talk with you and assist you in any way.

If your leaving the first service or coming in for the second, please take time out for some coffee and a snack so that you can mingle with others.  A wonderful atmosphere is present in between the two services.

What is a Sunday service like?

Whether it is your first time at Willow Ridge, or you've been attending for years, you will be drawn in to the singing and the teaching of God's word during our hour long service. From the moment you walk in the door, until the moment you leave, we are committed to a creative, compelling, challenging presentation of God's truth.

Pastor Bill Howard communicates in a way that speaks to today's culture. His in depth look into God's word will reveal truths that maybe you have read before. Through out Bill's teaching, he will challenge you to apply Christ’s teachings to your life. In the music you will capture the idea of "worshipping in Spirit and in truth."  The music is relevant and will lead in preparing your heart for what God has in store for you.

Where do I take my children?
The first building that you will come to is our Children and Youth building.  This building was built and designed with children in mind. As you enter, you will need to check your child in at the welcome desk.  You can be confident that while you worship your child is getting the love and care you would expect.  Your child will experience and learn from the truth of God's word.
Do you have something for students?

We sure do.  The Jr. High meet at 9:30am and the Sr. High meet at 11:00am in Studio419 which is located in the Children and Youth Building.

Each worship experience is designed especially for each age group. The experiences are fun and creative.  The music for each service is lead by our very own student praise band.

Do you recognize God’s voice when He speaks to you?  Do you know what He’s saying?  When you know His will, do you obey?  Do you have a cause or ministry that is worthy of you pouring your life into?

Beginning January 10, the Willow Ridge family will begin a 12 week study focused on helping us listen, discern and obey the voice of God. This will likely be the most challenging call to your faith that you’ve ever experienced.

Our prayer is that we would experience a radical movement of God in our church, as we practice a radical faith in Jesus.  It is our expectation and prayer that our church will never be the same.

What are the details?

  1. A 12 week sermon and Family Group series involving both adults and youth.
  2. Dates: January 10 – March 28
  3. Our study material will be “Experiencing God” by Henry Blackaby.
  4. Each person will be asked to purchase and complete the study material.

What are the desired outcomes?

  1. That each member and attender would get involved in a Family Group.
  2. That each Family Group would adopt and support a ministry of their choice.
  3. That each member will commit to serving WRC in some capacity.
  4. That Willow Ridge will adopt a international mission point to pour our hearts into over the next five years.
  5. That each member and attender will commit to giving their resources to support this effort.
  6. That we would pay off the dept of the Children’s Building as soon as possible to free up more money for missions.
