This verse perfectly summarizes the vision of WRC's worship ministries: A New Song The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:17 that "...if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!" Our worship celebrates that God has saved us and made us something new. It also expresses that God is continually working in us as we seek to be more like Him. Play Skillfully We strongly believe that whatever we do, we should do with excellence. And excellence means doing the best we can with what God has given us, and we continually seek to improve in all areas of our ministries. Shout for Joy Did you read that? While we understand that worship is expressed in a variety of ways, this verse says one way is with joy and excitement. Our desire is that worshipers at WRC sense the freedom to express their faith in an array of biblical ways. |
| Willow Ridge Worship Ministries are expressed through a number of teams: |
Worship The worship team leads musically during the Sunday morning worship services, as well as Concerts at the Ridge and other community inreach/outreach events. Sound The sound team operates the sound equipment for weekend services and other events. Lighting The lighting team operates the stage and house lights for the worship services and other events. Projection/Graphics This team handles the electronic visual elements in our services and other events. Video This team videos worship services and other events. They also shoot and edit video for special videos used in worship services. Choir Although our music is typically band-driven, we sometimes organize a choir for special services. This is great for folks who enjoy singing in a large group. Drama The drama team adds impact to message topics and biblical themes during the worship services. This can range from a simple scripture reading to full skits. Special Music and Ensembles We regularly feature special music by singers or musicians, either as soloists or ensembles. Worship Materials This team places visitor cards, tithe envelopes, and pens in the chair backs before each worship. |
