We'd love to see you this weekend!
If you're looking for somewhere to worship this weekend, we'd love for you to join us. We know that visiting a new church can be daunting, and we're here to help make sure you have a great experience getting to know us and our congregation. Look below to find answers to some of the questions we've heard a time or two!
We gather together for service on Sundays at 10:00AM, with separate classes for kids up to 6th grade. Join us earlier, at 9:30am, for Family Time to enjoy fellowship, coffee, snacks, and refreshments in our auditorium before the service.
Willow Ridge is at 104 Sycamore Tree Rd, Lexington, SC 29073, which is located off of Highway 1 between Lexington and West Columbia. We’re just minutes away from I-20 and I-26. If you’re coming from I-20, you can take exit 58 towards Columbia; if you’re coming from I-26, take exit 111 towards Lexington.
Of course, you can always use your phone to get here. We’d just like to see you!
We’ll be ready for you the minute you get here! If you or a loved one needs help making the trek up the sidewalk, a member of our Security Team will meet you with a golf cart for assistance — rain or shine! The building closest to the parking lot is called Building 2 (exciting, we know) where our Kids Ministry holds worship and classes for pre-school and elementary aged children during service. Our Student Ministry and several small groups also meet in this building on Sunday evenings.
Continuing down the sidewalk, you’ll come to Building 1 (surprise!) which is where you’ll find our nursery and auditorium. Once you’re inside, you can continue down the hallway on your right to get to the auditorium, or head to the left to check in your kids and locate the nursery. If you have a question during your visit with us, look for one of our Welcome Team members (they’ll be waring a big green badge with a question mark on it) — they would love to help you!
If you’re visiting with us, there are two things you’ll find during service no matter what — worship and the teaching of Scripture. From the moment you walk in the door until the moment you leave, we are committed to a creative, compelling, and challenging presentation of God’s truth. We always want to ensure that every gathering we hold is designed to engage, equip, and send people to make known the truth of the gospel — and we can’t do that without worshiping like we are called to and reading the Scripture carefully and honestly. If you have more questions about what we believe and teach, visit our beliefs page or contact us below!
Our Kids Ministry team will help you get your kids connected to their groups starting at 9:50 in Building 2 (the one closest to the parking lot), but you will be able to securely check them in earlier in Building 1 starting at 9:30 — just look for one of our expert, iPad-wielding volunteers! We know parents love having their little ones close, so if you have a child who isn’t of pre-school age yet, bring them to Building 1 where you’ll find our nursery and auditorium. You can be confident that while you worship your child is getting the best care and attention possible from our volunteers.
We value the safety and security of your kids, and strive to provide the best environment possible for your children to learn and grow. We do extensive background checks on our volunteers and have a thorough registration system to ensure that your children are safe and cared for at every step. Volunteers experience on-going training in both procedure/policy and gospel-centered teaching. On Sundays, we provide you and your children a name tag with a unique alphanumeric code when you check in. Parents must provide a tag with a matching code in order to pick up their child.
